Regarded as a pioneer in the executive ranks of Australia’s $1 billion-a-year debt collection and purchasing sector, Matt is credited as the driving force behind the National Hardship Register. Designed to alleviate the debts of disadvantaged Australians, this scheme has streamlined national standards of financial hardship management. Matt is an Executive Director of the Financial Counselling Australia and the Australian Collectors and Debt Buyers Association, and he has served on this Board in various capacities since 2012.

Matt is a former CEO of Brisbane-based Collection House Limited, where during his tenure he delivered a 400% increase in the company’s total shareholder return, and a 100% increase in net profit after tax. Matt has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and is a graduate of the General Manager Program. He is a member of the CEO Institute and Mensa Australia, and a Graduate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
